SISE Reflection

The meeting with my site supervisor to discuss my SISE was very short and informal.  We discussed my internship experiences and what I had learned in each of the competencies.  He gave me some ideas of items to include on my three year professional development plan.  He also showed that he read my comments about needing more secondary experiences by assigning me to facilitate Summer School and Driver Education on the High School campus this summer.  I found it interesting that at the beginning of my coursework, I was very concerned with every detail of what Mr. Welch said and just listened to everything very closely.  During our discussions at the end of the coursework, I could really talk with him about these experiences and felt I had a much better working knowledge of what is expected of a Superintendent.
